🏔️ TIPS TREKKING CHO NGƯỜI MỚI – ĐỪNG XÁCH BALO LÊN VÀ… ĐI LUÔN!
Trekking isn’t just a long walk through the mountains. It’s a journey into nature, a break from the city, and sometimes, a way to reconnect with yourself. But if it’s your first time, don’t just throw a few things in your backpack and head out—there are a few things worth preparing.
Here are some practical, battle-tested tips for first-time trekkers or anyone new to long-distance hikes:
01
If you think “It’s just walking, how hard can it be?” then you’ve probably never slipped on a wet trail or limped home with a swollen ankle. Invest in proper trekking shoes—grippy soles, waterproof, and a snug fit. And please, don’t wear brand-new shoes. Break them in a few days before your trip to avoid painful blisters.
Never underestimate the power of good shoes
Your trekking backpack should be around 20–35L for a 2–3 day trip. Don’t bring your whole closet—focus on:
-
A light rain jacket
-
Quick-dry clothes
-
Flashlight + extra batteries
-
First-aid kit & personal meds
-
Water bottle + snacks
-
Personal ID
02
Pack light—but don’t forget the essentials
03
04
Train a bit—your body will thank you later
Pace yourself—this isn’t a race
You don’t need to be an athlete, but your body does need some warm-up. Before the trip:
-
Take the stairs more often
-
Go on long walks (5–10km) with a loaded backpack
-
Light jogs to build stamina
You’ll be grateful for every squat and stair climb when you’re halfway up a steep trail!
A common mistake is trying to keep up with others or starting off too fast. Hike at your own rhythm, take breaks when needed, and stay hydrated. Most importantly: don’t hesitate to ask your guide for support.
Reminder: Trekking is for enjoying—not rushing to the finish line.
🌿 In short…
Trekking isn’t about speed—it’s about seeing clearly. Nature, your companions, and most importantly, yourself.
You don’t need to be perfectly prepared. Just be prepared enough—nature will take care of the rest.
